Magdalena, known as Maggie, was born on November 15th, 1902 in Streeter, Stutsman County, North Dakota, USA.1   Maggie's father was Gottlieb Rivinius Jr and her mother was Katherine “Katie” Stradinger (Rivinius).  Her paternal grandparents were Gottlieb Rivinius Sr. and Katherine Herman (Rivinius); her maternal grandparents are Carl Stradinger and Katrena Nehr. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Jake, Theodore, Gottlieb, Albert, Arthur, Katie, Lydia and Ida.  She was the second oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 93 on April 16th, 1996 in Elgin, Grant County, North Dakota, USA.1 

Maggie's family

Maggie and Daniel were married in a religious & civil ceremony on November 22nd, 1925 in Old Leipzig, Grant County, North Dakota, USA.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Elmer and Alma.  The family line is yet to be completed.
