Gottlieb was born on February 1st, 1851 in Grossliebental (Großliebental), Odessa, Odessa Oblast, Ukraine.1  Gottlieb's father was Johann Rivinius and his mother was Katharina Pflanzler (Rivinius).  He was an only child.

Gottlieb's first family

Gottlieb and Katherine were married in a religious & civil ceremony in 1873 in Grossliebental (Großliebental), Odessa, Odessa Oblast, Ukraine.1  They had nine sons and three daughters, named Jack, Gottlieb, Gottlieb, Edward, Rivinius, Rivinius, Rivinius, Rivinius, Rivinius, Katherine, Louise and Rivinius.  The family line is yet to be completed.


Gottlieb's second family

Gottlieb and Elizabeth were married in a religious & civil ceremony about 1924.1
