Louise was born on October 30th, 1878 in Grossliebental (Großliebental), Odessa, Odessa Oblast, Ukraine.1  Louise's father was Gottlieb Rivinius Sr. and her mother was Katherine Herman (Rivinius).  Her paternal grandparents were Johann Rivinius and Katharina Pflanzler (Rivinius). She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Jack, Gottlieb, Gottlieb, Edward, Rivinius, Rivinius, Rivinius, Rivinius, Rivinius, Katherine and Rivinius.
