Walter was born about 1860.1  Walter's father was James T Caleb and his mother was Rebecca E Chambers (Caleb, Lloyd).  His maternal grandparents were John ? Chambers and Elizabeth ? (Chambers). He had a brother named John.  He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjaman, Dorry, Sallie, Julia and Susie.
