Matilda Roberts

Matilda was born in 1833 in Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Matilda's father was James Roberts and her mother was Harriet Richardson. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Roberts and Ann King; her maternal grandmother was Mary Stead. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, William, Caroline and Mary. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 62 in 1895 in Bramley, Leeds, Yorkshire.²
