Sarah Hunter

Sarah was born in 1854 in Seaham Harbour, Co Durham.¹ Sarah's father was Alexander Ford Hunter and her mother was Elizabeth Myers. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Haswell Hunter and Hannah Jane Ford. She had three brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Robert, Samuel and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children.
