John S Henderson 
John was born in 1871 in Davy Lamp, Co Durham.1 John's father was William Coates Henderson and his mother was Jane Ann Gibbon. His paternal grandparents were James Henderson and Margaret Moor. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Matthew, George, James, Margaret, Jane, Hannah, Sophia and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
