Joseph Harper

Joseph was born in 1895 in Pittington, Co Durham.¹ Joseph's father was William Harper and his mother was Mary. His paternal grandparents were James Henry Harper and Elizabeth Haywood. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Henry, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, killed by a fall of stone, at the age of 32 on April 22nd, 1927 in Wheatley Hill, Co Durham.²
