Thomas Farrer

Thomas was born in 1842 in Nether Witton, Northumberland and his baptism took place there on November 20th, 1842.  Thomas' father was Thomas Farrer and his mother was Anne Gibson.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Farrer and Elizabeth Wanlace; his maternal grandparents were Luke Gibson and Ann Dixon or Dickson. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Luke, Isabella, Anne, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
