John Dodd

John was born on July 15th, 1804 in Simonburn, Northumberland and his baptism took place there on August 15th, 1804. John's father was Edward Dodd and his mother was Isabel Barnfather. His paternal grandparents were Edward Dodd and Mary; his maternal grandparents were John Barnfather and Jane Rowntree. He had a brother and three sisters, named Edward, Jane, Ann and Mary. He was the second oldest of the five children.
