Mark Brooksbank

Mark was born in 1859 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Mark's father was James Brooksbank and his mother was Caroline Roberts. His paternal grandparents were James Brooksbank and Mary Broadbent; his maternal grandparents were James Roberts and Harriet Richardson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert, John, James, Harriet, Mary, Matilda, Alice, Caroline and Eliza. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
