James Brooksbank

James was born in 1867 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ James' father was James Brooksbank and his mother was Caroline Roberts. His paternal grandparents were James Brooksbank and Mary Broadbent; his maternal grandparents were James Roberts and Harriet Richardson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert, John, Mark, Harriet, Mary, Matilda, Alice, Caroline and Eliza. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 49 on August 31st, 1916.²
