Martha Ann Boynton 
Martha was born in 1846 in Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire.1 Martha's father was Henry Boynton and her mother was Mary Ann Cowgill. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Boynton and Ann Holmes; her maternal grandparents were William Cowgill and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, William and Eliza. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
