Eleanora was born on July 31st, 1914.  Eleanora's father was Giovanni Fornara and her mother was Amelia Bassetti.  Her paternal grandparents were Carlo Fornara and Elisabetta Aghina; her maternal grandparents were Guiseppi Bassetti and Carolina Tamagni (wrong name?).  She was the third of six children.  She had a brother and four sisters, named Silvio, Margaret, Elizabeth "Betty", Josephine "Jose" and Serafina.  She died at the age of 91 on May 17th, 2006.
