Annie, known as Nancy, was born on September 5th, 1911 in West Bromwich, Stafford and her baptism took place on September 28th, 1911 in St.Philips Church, West Bromwich.1  Nancy's father was John William WOODHOUSE and her mother was Annie LONG.  Her paternal grandparents were William WOODHOUSE and Emma COTTON; her maternal grandparents were Robert LONG and Sarah PEARCE. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Lily.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 77 in 1988 in Sandwell, Staffordshire.2
