Alice was born in September 1886 in West Bromwich, Stafford.¹ Alice's father was Joseph PAGE and her mother was Eliza GILBERT. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel PAGE and Elizabeth WALMSLEY. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joseph, Charles, Robert, Benjamin, Thomas, William, Rose and Annie.
