Samuel was born in 1791 in Mancetter, Warwickshire.¹   Samuel's father was John HALL and his mother was Catherina WILLSON.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph HALL and Jane PROCTOR; his maternal grandparents were Thomas WILLSON and Elizabeth <UNKNOWN>. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Joseph, John, Thomas, Joseph, Thomas, William, Samuel and Hannah.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 2 in 1793 in Mancetter, Warwickshire.¹
