Edith was born on February 2nd, 1893 in Galley Common, Nuneaton, Warwickshire and her baptism took place on March 12th, 1893 in St.Pauls Church, Stockingford, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1  Edith's father was William COOK(E) and her mother was Elizabeth ROBINSON.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas COOK(E) and Mary Ann COPE; her maternal grandmother was Mary Ann ROBINSON. She had four brothers named John, Bertie, Frederick and Herbert.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 85 on June 26th, 1978 in 83 St.Pauls Road, Stockingford, Nuneaton.
