Frederick was born in 1878 in Claverdon, Nr. Stratford, Warwickshire.  Frederick's father was Clement CHINNER and his mother was Mary Ann DALE.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas CHINNER and Elizabeth WATTS; his maternal grandparents were John DALE and Elizabeth GRANTHAM. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Arthur, Emily, Amy and Alice.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 77 in June 1955 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
