Hannah was born in 1827 in Atherstone, Warwickshire.  Hannah's father was Joseph BRIERLEY and her mother was Elizabeth <UNKNOWN>. She had five brothers and a sister, named Charles, William, John, Joseph, Mark and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
