Савва was born in 1828.  Савва's father was Григорий Василиев Коровка and his mother was Агафия Филиповна (Корявка).  His paternal grandparents were Василий Коровка and Параскева Димитриева (Коровенчиха). He had six brothers and three sisters, named Михаил, Авксентий, Феоктист, Василий, Александр, Андрей, Стефанида, Екатерина and Мария.  He was the youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 53 on June 14th, 1881.
