William Perring 
William was born in 1846 in Salcombe. William's father was John Perring and his mother was Jemima Gillen. His paternal grandparents were George Perring and Maria Collings. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, George, Edwin, James, Albert, Charles, Mary, Eliza, Caroline, Eliza and Rosa. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 31 in 1877 in parish of Kingsbridge. He was buried in 1877.-
