Charles Perring 
Charles was born in 1859 in Malborough. Charles' father was John Perring and his mother was Jemima Gillen. His paternal grandparents were George Perring and Maria Collings. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, George, William, Edwin, James, Albert, Mary, Eliza, Caroline, Eliza and Rosa. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 2 in June 1861 in Salcombe. He was buried on June 12th, 1861 in Salcombe Holy Trinity.-
