Denise was born in July 1953.  Denise's father was Joseph (The Ace) William Castoral and her mother was Vera Beyer (Castoral).  Her paternal grandparents were William Castoral and Mary (Castoral); her maternal grandparents were  Orville  Beyer and  Helen Spoonauer (Beyer).  She is the thirteenth of fourteen children.  She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Sonny, Frank, Bobby, Jerry, Walter, Smokey, Kenny, Vera, Joan, Peggy, Carole, Helen and Kathy.
