Jeanne was born in 1715 in Pisiguit, Nova Scotia, Acadia, Canada.  Jeanne's father was Michel Vincent and her mother was Anne Marie Doiron. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jean, Joseph, Charles, Anne, Madeleine, Marguerite, Anne and Josette.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
