Petrus Josephus was born on October 7th, 1740.  Petrus Josephus' father was Phillippus Benoit and his mother was Marie Francoise Vandenheede.  His paternal grandparents were Petrus Benoit and Magdalena Tack. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Petrus Joannes, Joannes Baptiste, Antonius, Martinus, Phillipus Jacob, Maria Magdalena and Maria Catharina Francisca.  He died at the age of 5 on October 7th, 1745.
