Barbara was born on January 1st, 1714.  Barbara's father was Christian Benoit and her mother was Judoca Coopman.  Her paternal grandparents were Carolus Benoit and Mayken Lammertijn. She had three brothers and a sister, named Joannes, Petrus, Josephus and Magdalena.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 60 on November 24th, 1774.
