Andreas was born on June 29th, 1734.  Andreas' father was Petrus Benoit and his mother was Catharina Vandekerckhove.  His paternal grandparents were Carolus Benoit and Maria Catharina Coucke. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Petrus Jacobus, Carolus, Josephus, Franciscus Ignatius, Jean Baptiste, Maria Anna and Marie Anna Catherina.  He was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 2 on April 4th, 1737.
