Lars Berg Froyland (Dahl) (Kjetilsen) 
Lars was born on September 16th, 1814 in Brandsberg, Sokndal, Rogaland, Norway.1 Lars 's father was Kield Tonnessen Brandsberg (Bakke) and his mother was Berte Marie Malene Alfsdtr Maal. His paternal grandfather was Tonnes Svendsen Bakke; his maternal grandparents were Alf Olsen Maal and Sissel Larsdtr Solbjørg (Lund). He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Tonnes, Andreas, Konrad , Sivert Tobias , Sivert Tobias , Kjell , Elias, Grete Sofie, Berte Malene, Anne Birgitte and Olene. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 79 in 1893 in Brandsberg, Sokndal, Rogaland, Norway.2 General Notes
