William Lewis Phinney IIl 
William was born on August 27th, 1918.1 William's father was William Lewis Phinney Jr. and his mother was Rachel Fellows Pike. His paternal grandparents were William Lewis Phinney and Katherine Hamilton Thompson. He had three sisters named Lois, Carol and Joan. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 83 on October 2nd, 2001 in Multnomah, Oregon.2 General Notes
