McKenzie Angus Gillies

Angus was born on May 15th, 1875 in Tapanui, West Otago, New Zealand. Angus' father was Alexander Finlay McKenzie and his mother was Elizabeth Ann McFarlane. His paternal grandparents were Angus MacKenzie and Ann Gillies. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named William, John, Alexander, Donald, David, Murdock, Murdo, Elizabeth, Marion, Catherine, Jessie, Isabella and Flora. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 80 on February 14th, 1956 in New Zealand.
