James Langlands

James was born on February 19th, 1864 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland. James' father was David Langlands and his mother was Jean Gibson. His maternal grandparents were James Gibson and Margaret Bruce Hardie. He had a brother and five sisters, named David, Ann, Agnes, Jane, Betsy and Emma. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
