Matilda Ferguson Foley

Matilda was born in 1883 in Emerald Hill, Victoria, Australia.¹ Matilda's father was William Foley and her mother was Catherine Ferguson. Her paternal grandparents were James Foley and Catherine (Kate) Lyston. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Ignatius, Catherine and Irene. She was the oldest of the six children.
