John Foley 
John was born in 1892 in Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia. John's father was William Foley and his mother was Catherine Ferguson. His paternal grandparents were James Foley and Catherine (Kate) Lyston. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Ignatius, Matilda, Catherine and Irene. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 87 in 1979.
