John Campbell

John was born on March 22nd, 1841 in Barvas, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland.  John's father was Angus Campbell and his mother was Mary McKay.  His paternal grandparents were John Campbell and Catherine MacLeod; his maternal grandparents were Angus McKay and Rachael McAskill. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, Malcolm, Donald, Catherine and Ann.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 67 on April 24th, 1908 in 23 North Dell, Barvas, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland.¹
