Nancy was born on May 12th, 1814 in Carterco, , Kentucky, USA. Nancy's father was Rev. Jonathan L. Lipps and her mother was Sarah Gullett. Her paternal grandparents were John Lipps and Elizabeth Tompkins; her maternal grandparents were DANIEL Gullett and MARY B. She had five brothers named John Jesse, Micajah, Daniel, Nelson and Jonathan Mulkey. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 70 in September 1884 in Laurelco, , Kentucky, USA.-
