Jeanne was born on February 14th, 1591 in French Church/Canterbury, Kent Co., England.1   Jeanne's father was Gervois DeSpaigne and her mother was Marguerite Boussemar.  Her paternal grandparents were Jean DeSpaigne and Jaquesmine. She had three brothers and a sister, named Andre, Pierre, Jean and Marie.  She was the youngest of the five children.
