Gervois was born in 1554 in England.1   Gervois' father was Jean DeSpaigne and his mother was Jaquesmine.  His paternal grandparents were Jean DeSpaigne and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named Francois and Peronne.  He died at the age of 40 on August 18th, 1594 in French Church/Canterbury, Kent Co., England.1
