Sophia von Looz

Sophia was born in 1155 in Looz, Limbourg, Belgium.¹ Sophia's father was Count Ludwig von Loos I and her mother was Agnès von Metz. Her paternal grandparents were Count Arnulf von Loos V and Agnes von Rheineck. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Gerard, Gerhard, Agnes, Imaine and Adelaide. She was the second youngest of the six children.
