Marjory of Mar (Margaret, Marjory Mary de Mar) 
Marjory was born in 1270 in Mar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 Marjory's father was 6th Earl of Mar Donald de Maraka Ehislach and her mother was Princess of North Wales Elen ferch Llewelyn. Her paternal grandparents were Sir William de Maraka 5th Earl of Mar and Elizabeth Comyn; her maternal grandparents were Llewelyn (The Great) ap Iorweth and Joan Plantagenet. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gratney, Duncan, Alexander, Isabell and Mary. She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Colbán and Marjorie. She died at the age of 56 on July 24th, 1326 in Dunrobin Castle, Golspie, Sutherland, Scotland.2 -
