Roger of Buchan

Roger was born in 1140 in Buchan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ Roger's father was Earl Colban of Buchan and his mother was Eva Mormaer. His maternal grandparents were Earl Gartnach of Buchan and Ete of Fife. He was an only child. He died at the age of 39 in 1179.¹
