Theobald was born in 1248 in Alton Castle, Staffordshire, England.1 Theobald's father was Sir, Lord Westmeath John de Verdon and his mother was Margaret de Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Theobald (le Butzllen) le Boteler II and Rohesia de Verdon; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert de Lacy and Isabel Bigod. He had a sister named Maud. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 61 on August 24th, 1309 in Alton Castle, Staffordshire, England.2 -
