William de Plumpton 
William was born in 1294 in Plumpton, Spofforth, Yorkshire, England.1 William's father was Robert de Plumpton and his mother was Lucy de Ros. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Plumpton and Isabella de Westwick; his maternal grandparents were Sir William De Ros II and Eustace FitzHugh. He was an only child.
