Matthieu de Montmorency 
Matthieu was born in 1174.1 Matthieu's father was Bouchard de Montmorency V and his mother was Laurette de Hainault. His maternal grandparents were Comte Baudouin le Batisseur de Hainault IV and Adelheid de Namur. He had a brother and a sister, named Bouchard and Alix. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 56 on November 24th, 1230.1 General Notes
