Alix de Montmorency

Alix was born in 1175 in Montmorency, Ile-de-France, France.¹ Alix's father was Bouchard de Montmorency V and her mother was Laurette de Hainault. Her maternal grandparents were Comte Baudouin le Batisseur de Hainault IV and Adelheid de Namur. She had two brothers named Bouchard and Matthieu. She was the youngest of the three children.²
