Alix de Lorraine 
Alix was born in 1198 in Lorraine, France.1 Alix's father was Duc Frederic de Lorraine II and her mother was Agnès Theomaceta de Bar-le-Duc. Her paternal grandparents were Duc Frédéric von Lothringen I and Ludmilla von Polen; her maternal grandparents were Comte Theobald de Bar I and Adelaide von Looz. She had a brother and a sister, named Matthias and Lorette. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 44 on September 29th, 1242.1 General Notes
