Sir Edward de Keith

Edward was born in 1280 in Dunottar, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹ Edward's father was Sir William Keith and his mother was Barbara Seton. His paternal grandparents were John de Keith and Margaret Cumyn; his maternal grandparents were Adam de Seton and Janet Gifford. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Richard, Philip and Keith. He was the youngest of the five children. He died as a war casualty, Battle of Neville's Cross, at the age of 66 on October 17th, 1346 in Neville's Cross, England.¹
