Sir William Keith

William was born in 1236 in Humbie, East Lothian, Scotland.¹ William's father was John de Keith and his mother was Margaret Cumyn. His paternal grandparents were Hervey de Keth and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William Cumyn and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named Adam, Robert and Keith. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 57 in 1293.¹
