Elizabeth de Berkeley

Elizabeth was born in 1400 in Beverston, Gloucestershire, England.¹ Elizabeth's father was Sir John de Berkeley of Betteshorne and her mother was Elizabeth de Bettleshorne. Her paternal grandparents were 3rd Baron de Berkeley Thomas (The Rich) de Berkeley and Katherine Clivedon; her maternal grandparents were John Betteshorne and Goda. She had two sisters named Maurice and Alianore. She was the youngest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Roger, Thomas, Alphonsus and Joane. She died at the age of 78 on December 8th, 1478 in Dudley Castle, Staffordshire, England.¹
