Lorena Elizabeth was born on October 5th, 1879 in Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1880. Lorena Elizabeth's father was Henry Adolphus Tilley and her mother was Elizabeth 'Betty' Hogan. Her paternal grandparents were James Tilley and Temperance Roberts. She had a sister named Cora Edna. She was the older of the two children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Frank Paul, Walter B., James Marion, Henry, Belle H., Dora P. and Katie L.. She died at the age of 89 on July 6th, 1969 in Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC. She was buried on July 7th, 1969 in Damascus United Congregational Church Cemetery, Orange Co, NC.General Notes
